On Tuesday evening, November 5th, Headwaters Trails Alliance (HTA) hosted a season wrap-up party at Brickhouse 40 in Granby to celebrate the year’s accomplishments and thank their dedicated volunteers for a stellar year. 

For 2019, HTA reports:

  • 650 hours was spent on trails
  • 4,483.5 total man-hours worked
  • 650 drains cleared or built
  • ~2,000 trees cleared
  • 170 miles of trail covered
  • 2 turnpikes constructed
  • 3 bridges constructed

The mission of Headwaters Trails Alliance is to preserve, enhance, and promote sustainable, high-quality, multi-use trail opportunities in Grand County. A nonprofit advocacy organization, their programs include: Adopt-a-Trail, National Public Lands Day, Fraser to Granby trail construction and East Shore Trail construction.
