Upslope Brewing Company is headed to the backcountry once again to host a pop-up tap room experience for the 5th Annual Backcountry Tap Room on Saturday, September 28, 2019! Get ready to enjoy some good beers in the great outdoors… but, you’re gonna’ have to earn ’em!

Upslope has teamed up with the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics again this year – 100% of the profits will go directly to Leave No Trace to support their 2020 Colorado Hot Spots.

This year’s Backcountry Tap Room will serve as the release location for a brand new, limited edition beer brewed exclusively for the event – a Double Dry-Hopped Pale Ale. Join this family-friendly, day hike to soak up some brews and views!

  • Bar hours: 11 am – 4:30 pm
  • Check-in opens at 10 am
  • Event ends at 5 pm

Starting from Grand Park in Fraser, you’ll head to the top of Grand Park by way of marked trails (~2.5 miles). Tickets are $15 plus fees (event proceeds benefit Leave No Trace). Day-of tickets are $20, while they last. Non-drinkers and children accompanied by a legal guardian are free.

All 21+ attendees (with valid ID) will receive four drink tickets – good for one 12 oz can of Upslope’s exclusive Backcountry Tap Room Beer (Double Dry-Hopped Pale Ale) and up to three more cans of their 12 oz year-round styles.

Birch Benders will be serving free pancake kabobs at check-in from 9-11 am (or while supplies last), and, Alpine Start Foods will be on location in the AM with coffee.

Volunteers are still needed! Get in free and be a part of the event!

If you’re planning to attend, be sure to bring a valid ID. Furry friends are welcome, but must be on a leash at all times. Make sure to pick-up after your pup, too! Please be mindful of wildlife in the area and be sure to exercise Leave No Trace principles (pack it in, pack it out!). Alcohol consumption is permitted in designated event areas, marked by the Backcountry Tap Room bar, and should not extend onto trails.
