To the Editor

THANK YOU TO THE TOWN OF WINTER PARK!

As the supportive arm of the Grand County Animal Shelter, The Grand County Pet Pals would like to thank The Town of Winter Perk for their generous grant award this year.  Because of their ongoing and faithful support, we have been able to continue to fulfill our mission of responsible pet ownership in Grand County. This is being achieved, in part, by helping the residents in our county to have their pets spayed and neutered.  We are also dedicated to animal health and welfare programs and we deeply appreciate The Town of Winter Park in assisting us to reach these goals. We have some wonderful animals up for adoption at the shelter. Won’t you stop by and take a look?

To the Editor,

Shocking evidence continues to surface relevant to the impeachment trial of the President, including memos and texts outlining Rudy Giuliani’s explicit instructions from the President and a collaborating GOP congressional candidate helping to track, monitor and offering to “take care of” “that b—-” US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch “for a price.”

As Senator Gardner’s constituents, we demand this evidence is presented in the trial and to the American people, and that the relevant first-person testimony of Mick Mulvaney and John Bolton is not blocked by the White House. If there is any evidence that exonerates the President, this is the opportunity to present it.

An impeachment trial must not be undertaken lightly, and as a juror tasked with making extraordinarily serious decisions, Senator Gardner must vocally demand transparency, thoroughness, and unobstructed access to relevant witnesses and facts.

Dear Editor,

I am writing to express my disappointment with my senator Cory Gardner. Although, legally he represents me and all the people of Colorado, he does not represent me. He took an oath to uphold the Constitution and has reneged on that oath repeatedly.

Senator Cory Gardner’s support of this President’s reckless and dangerous attack on Iran, his failure to commit to an impartial impeachment trial, and his abandonment of his duties to engage his constituents are all breaches of trust with the people of Colorado who he was elected to represent and who he serves.

Simply, Gardner, like the rest of the GOP, believes he works for President Trump and not the people of this state. Gardner is wrong for Colorado. He knows it. He must go. If he doesn’t want to be voted out of office then he can resign. That would be fine with me.

Signed,

Martha Baird
