Thank You

The KFFR Time Machine Dance Party was a blast. On behalf of all the volunteers, listeners and the rest, we are most appreciative of this community’s support for public access radio.

The Fraser Valley is a music hotspot. It’s only fitting that the valley would have a community radio station where local volunteer announcers share their passion for music by hosting radio programs.

The Time Machine Dance Party was hosted by Ullr’s Tavern, the valley’s premier live music venue and we could not have done it without them. Other local businesses pitched in door prizes. These include Christina Russell Massage, Sharky’s, Jen Bach of Winter Park Salon, Tabernash Tavern, Town of Winter Park, Grand County Blues Society, Rudi’s Deli, Brickhouse 40, Vertical Bistro, Winter Park Liquor Depot, Outlaw Apiaries of Tabernash, Grand Foundation, Pepe Osakas, Mountain Moon Yoga, The Perk, Whittler’s Barber Shop, Opa, Rocky Mountain Roastery, Idlewild Distillery, Elevate Pilates, Christy’s Sports, Megan Ledin, Tonya Daring, Ear2Ear Photo Booth and the Winter Park Times.

There were some great folks pitching in on the ground including DJs Carl Thorsten, “The Music Doctor” Casey Malon, Mikey “T”, DJ A-Mon and Sheila DuCharme. Emcees Alison Behr and Joanna Goodman ruled the roost. Extra planning and support came from Anna Winkel Szczepanski, Jake Mikol, Russ Churn, Jeanette McQuade, Cynthia McCoy and Joanna Goodman.

I especially want to thank anyone I forgot to thank.
