The US National Weather Service observes that the North Central Colorado mountain snowpack has been slowly improving this month (ranging from 82% to 86% of normal). Basin reservoir storage is holding steady in the upper Colorado River basin (102% of average), but falling slowly in the South Platte (87% of average).
More snow is expected in the next week, hopefully building upon recent snowfall and continuing to improve the state’s snowpack and runoff outlook.
