In Grand Lake, Tuesday’s election was held to fill 5 seats on the town board; mayor and four trustee positions. Town Clerk Jennifer Thompson stated that, of the 383 registered voters in the Town of Grand Lake, 72 absentee ballots were received and 27 voted in-person on April 7th.
According to the Abstract of Votes cast, which remains unofficial for a period of ten days to allow for votes received by Uniformed and Overseas Citizens (UOCAVA) to be counted, the new mayor is Steve Kudron (83 votes). The three new board members who will serve four-year terms, with the highest number of votes, are Ernie Bjorkman (91 votes); Michael Arntson (78 votes); and Jonah Landy (75 votes). Melissa Ratzmann (54 votes) will serve a two-year term as trustee.
