For the second quarter of 2019, the Town of Granby continues to build momentum on the development scene. The newest addition to downtown planning is the Granby Station Development, which will offer a combination of retail, office and residential space when completed. Located at 378 E Agate Avenue, on the property formerly occupied by Mad Munchies, demolition is set to begin in the next few weeks.

Mountain Valley Auto Repair has been sold and the lot has been cleared of any residual junk. Demolition and scraping will take place soon.

Los Amigos has reopened, after some remodeling, as LA Eatery. The menu features fast casual Mexican American cuisine, and includes some of their Los Amigos favorites.

Pearl Dragon’s remodeling is progressing well and they are hoping to be open by July.

Neighbors are waiting patiently for the foundation work to be completed so they can watch the prefabricated Dairy Apartment building come to life. When finished, the building will add 12 apartment units to downtown Granby.

Located at the northwest intersection of US 40 & 34, Sun Communities’ is also making great progress on the River Run Ranch and Smith Creek Crossing developments. River Run Ranch RV Resort plans a soft opening on July 1st and is now taking reservations. Smith Creek Crossing, the development’s residential manufactured home community continues to build out the infrastructure and home sales are anticipated to begin soon. The first 90 units of the Rodeo Apartments, located north of the Flying Heels Rodeo Grounds, are currently in the design phase. This new project will bring more attainable housing options to the local community.
