Winter Park Resort presents its Friday Music Series 4-6 pm in The Village with entertainment provided by Americana / “newgrass” band Coral Creek (originals by Chris Thompson and Bill McKay). The Friday shows are followed by Coca-Cola Family Movie Nights on the lawn, with “Space Jam” August 4th. Both events are free and feature a different band and movie every Friday through Aug. 25th.

Cooper Creek Square in Winter Park presents its Music on the Square live music series 6-8 pm in the courtyard. The Granby Farmers and Artist’s Market, located at the town parking lot next to Brickhouse 40 near 320 E Agate Avenue in Granby runs from 2 – 7 pm.  Visit and sample products from a variety of local farmers, artists and food vendors and enjoy live music and games.

The 101st Middle Park Fair and Rodeo bucks out of the chutes Aug. 4-13 at the Kremmling Fairgrounds. Events during the week include a CPRA Rodeo, Ranch Rodeo, Jr. Rodeo, 4-H shows, and livestock sale. Friday, Aug. 4 is 4-H Exhibit Day 8 am-4 pm.

Road Trip!  Jerry Garcia 75th Birthday Concert featuring Bob Weir and The Campfire at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, from 6 – 11 pm.


Saturday, August 5

The 8th Annual Winter Park Beer Festival features beer samplings from around the nation noon-5 pm, and live music with bands Public Safety, Two Faces West, and Ghosts of the Highway; and a Sapporo Premium Beer karaoke stage. Fitness in the Park features a FREE yoga class with Emily Kuderer at Hideaway Park in downtown Winter Park at 9am.

Local musicians Brian Wiedl and Kenny Sciuto perform 6-9 pm at Leo’s Kitchen upstairs at Cooper Creek Square in Winter Park.

The Winter Park / Fraser Chamber of Commerce presents its High Note Thursday free summer concert series 4-6 pm through Aug. 24 on the new permanent stage at Hideaway Park in Winter Park with Grateful Dead tribute band Shakedown Street.

Local musicians Kevin, Brian and Mike Wiedl, and Kenny Sciuto perform live 8-10 p.m. at The Peak in Winter Park.

New host musician Craig Pierce and the Crooked Creek Saloon presents Open Mic Night starting at 9:30 pm in Fraser. Artists of all kinds are encouraged to sign up. Acoustic guitar may be on hand to play.

The Grand Foundation needs volunteers for summer events (which help fund local charities): Aug. 5 for the WP Beer Festival, Aug. 12 for the KBCO SolShine Music Festival, Aug. 19 for WP Uncorked, and Aug. 26 for the WP Music Festival.
