Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre opened its third Summer 2018 production last week and I was lucky to catch the dress rehearsal on Friday morning.

The Full Monty, based on the 1997 film, is based in Buffalo, NY and tells the story of six unemployed and emasculated steelworkers, desperate to find a way to earn enough money to pull themselves out of debt.

While out spying on their wives at “Girls Night Out”, they see how much the ladies enjoy watching male strippers and decide to assemble their own group of male dancers who will take it all off and go “The Full Monty”.

The casting is brilliant, and you will feel yourself drawn in by the six loveable misfits, and, Sharon Sachs’ performance as Jeanette Burmeister is not to be missed. While you’ll be wondering right up to the end whether the guys pull it off, it is an enjoyable and unforgettable ride.

The production carries an advisory for adult language and situations, so this show should be enjoyed on an adult night out. For tickets, call (970) 627-3421 or visit: rockymountainrep.com.
