The last note of Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre’s 2018 summer season productions has faded from the stage, making way for the country music revue that is “Pump Boys and Dinettes”, the Theatre’s fall 2018 production which opens Friday night.

“Pump Boys and Dinettes” is a story about the gas station “Pump Boys”, who sell high octane fuel on Highway 57, and the “Dinettes”, who run the Double Cupp diner next door. Set in Grand Ole Opry country, they enchant us with an evening of country/western songs that received unanimous raves on and off-Broadway. The musical celebrates and embodies the value of friendship and life’s simple pleasures, and, when the inevitable ‘closing time’ comes around, you’ll wish you could stay longer.

Rocky Mountain Rep favorites Matilde Bernabei, Todd Hale and Ethan Ray Parker return to the stage for the fall show. The theatre also welcomes newcomers Conor Finnerty-Esmonde, Maya Rowe, and P.Tucker Worley. “Pump Boys and Dinettes” is directed by Jeff Duke and musical direction is done by Michael Querio.

“Pump Boys and Dinettes” opens August 31st, at 8 pm, and runs through the month of September. Tickets are on sale at the Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre box office, by phone: (970) 627-5087, or online at: rockymountainrep.com.
