Snowshoe the Wilderness at Rocky Mountain National Park at 1 pm. Join a mostly level 2-hour snowshoe tour with a park ranger. Reservations are required and may be made no sooner than 7 days in advance.  Call the Kawuneeche Visitor Center at  (970) 627-3471 from 8 am – 4:30 pm.

Grand Lake Nordic center hosts a Full Moon ski from 5-9 pm. Complimentary hot chocolate around the bonfire.

Comedy Works of Denver presents a Comedy Night feat. David Rodriguez and Chris Voth 8 pm (doors open at 7) at the Grand Lake Community House. $25.

Full band and singer / songwriter Rob Drabkin perform live 10 pm-1 am for a New Year’s Eve Celebration at the Broad Axe Barn, Devil’s Thumb Ranch, Tabernash. $25 general admission, $10 lodging guests.

Alumni Matilde Bernabei puts on a show for Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre’s New Year’s Eve celebration in Grand Lake. Doors open at 8 pm; performance is at 9 pm. $35.

Idlewild Spirits (under Rudi’s Deli in Winter Park) presents weekly pick-up game nights (5-10 pm). Games on hand. People are also encouraged to bring games.

FREE Community Dinner at Cranmer Memorial Chapel in downtown Winter Park from 5-7 pm. On the menu is fresh baked ham, green beans, mashed potatoes, bread and brownies for dessert, sponsored by the Catholic Churches of Grand County. All are welcome!
