The Christmas Train Display is a holiday tradition for many and a great way to entertain the kids this holiday season. The display is located at the Moffat Road Railroad Museum, located in Kaibab Park, next to the ball fields in Granby. Part of the local railroad museum, the model train exhibit boasts the largest track in the state, at close to 1,100 feet.

The exhibit features a unique collection of trains, dioramic scenes, miniature towns and villages. Hundreds of volunteer hours go into the holiday tradition each year. The semi-interactive display includes a ski lift, five separate tracks, several special trains (including Thomas), multiple roadways and a railway that highlights the historic Moffat Tunnel.

The Holiday Season exhibit is open this weekend and, beginning on November 29th, will be open Wednesday through Saturday (10am-5pm), Sundays (12pm-4pm) through January 5th. The Christmas Train Display will be open on Christmas, if you want to get the kids out of the house for a few hours.

The attraction is $5 for adults and $2 for kids ages six and up, ages 5 and under are free. All donations are appreciated and help keep the lights on in the buildings and in the tiny towns.
