Emergency Medical Technicians Tammy Russell and Katie Sanford thrilled the children at the Fraser Valley Library when they visited for story time on June 29, 2017.

The Fraser Valley Library holds free Story Time programs every week on Thursdays at 10AM.  The programs develop an early love of reading and enhances social skills for children under the age of six.  This years theme for the Summer Reading Program (available to all ages) is “Build a Better World,” and the Library has invited several organizations to join them in demonstrating the importance of their work in our communities. Joy McCoy, Library Services Specialist said, “The program has a significant impact on early education development and social skills.”  Bringing professional service organizations in for the story “excites and engages the children” and is fun for the presenting agencies.  McCoy added, “It is special time for the kids and we want to thank everyone for their participation and commitment to our program.”
