The new bathroom has been completed and the museum is now ready to accommodate guests.

The Moffat Road Railroad Museum in Granby received its Certificate of Occupancy and is ready to begin normal hours of year-round operation.  Museum Director, Dave Naples, said, “We need 8 to 12 people who are willing to spend 1 to 2 hours at the museum in the role of guest services (front door greeter and scavenger hunt info) or floor monitors to help with our guests at the model railroad. There is real need to get some more folks trained on how to run our O Scale Model Train display. We will also need docents to take people on tours thru the 1905 Coach- the 1913 Derrick, the 1923 Caboose, the 1956 Crew Gang Car and the Visitor Center. Since we have a CO we can advertise as a open to the public facility.”

If you have a few hours to spare a week, contact Dave Naples at (970) 281-9094.
