Effective July 1, the Grand Park Community Recreation Center (GPCRC) has expanded operating hours to include Sundays. New hours will be Monday – Friday 6 am to 7 pm; and, Saturday & Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm. There will also no longer be a closure from 1–2 pm for additional cleaning. 

The Climbing Wall and Basketball area are now available for up to 2 people per reservation. The Hot Tub/Spa is also open for up to 3 people. The GPCRC is also offering swim lessons and some new and exciting programs beginning next week. More information on these programs is  listed below.

Pre-registration is still required to reserve a personal work-out time, lap or leisure swim, attend a fitness class or program, or use the climbing wall or basketball zone. All current members and program participants are already set up for online registration. If you don’t have an active membership, the fee is $7 per hour. To get your on-line username and password, email michelle@fraservalleyrec.org or call (970) 726-8968 ext 0. 

All guests will be required to wear a face covering at all times, except while in the water. Social distancing (6 feet) will be enforced in all areas of the GPCRC. The facility will close between each reserved time slot for 30 minutes of cleaning. The number of patrons allowed in the facility will continue to be limited. The GPCRC has implemented one-way entries and exits. The exercise equipment has been spaced out to meet social distancing requirements, and patrons will be required to wipe down all equipment after individual use. Employees and guests will be screened for symptoms of COVID-19 and agree to our COVID-19 waiver upon registration and entrance to the facility.

Patrons must be 15 years of age to register for a fitness zone, youth ages 11–14 may sign up for the leisure pool, everyone under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a guardian at least 16 years of age or older.


The Lap Pool and Leisure Pool are open to families and individuals. Pre-registration to reserve a specific time to swim is required through the website.

  • Time slots are available in one-hour increments with a half-hour closure between time slots for additional cleaning.
  • The Lazy River is open, but the Water Slide, Children’s Play Structure, Steam Room and Sauna remain closed.
  • The Hot Tub/Spa is open on a first come/first serve basis to patrons with a zone registration. Three people will be allowed at a time, more if they are a family unit.
  • The number of patrons allowed in the Leisure Pool area including the Lazy River will be limited to 10 per time slot with appropriate social distancing in the pool.
  • The number of patrons allowed in the Lap Pool will be limited to 1 per lane or 4 people.
  • Family Changing Rooms and Locker Rooms are open, but all lockers remain unavailable.
  • The Playground is open to a limit of 10 people at a time on Fridays Saturdays and Sunday only with a leisure pool reservation.
  • Parent/Child, Private and Family Swim Lessons along with Learn to Dive programs are available.

  • Current fitness classes being offered are: Power Sculpt – Kung Fu – Yoga for Everyone – Yoga Fusion – Ring of Fire.
  • Indoor fitness class participants are limited to 7 per class. Outdoor classes are not limited.
  • Alpine Aerial gymnastics team training is currently being offered with a limitation of 5 gymnasts per session.

Look for additional youth programs to be offered starting July 10th.

  • Only 2 climbers are allowed on the wall during a time slot. You may boulder or use the ropes. If you use the ropes, you MUST be currently certified by one of our instructors.
