Last weekend, the town of Grand Lake hosted their annual Winter Carnival, “Under the Big Top” and the Ice Addiction ice fishing tournament. Rangers at Rocky Mountain National Park also led visitors on a cross-country ski tour and a snowshoe tour. With something for just about everyone, the town was packed with locals and visitors.

Grand Lake Chamber Executive Director, Samantha Bruegger, told the Winter Park Times, “The event was well attended with nearly 1,000 participants, including lots of ice fishing spectators from the Ice Addiction tournament that morning. We had hundreds in attendance for the “Circus Freak Show” Ball and netted $2,500 for the town fireworks fund”.
