Mother Nature put a snowmageddon smack down on the ice, but the town came together to pull off this year’s annual hockey event.

Brian Blumenfeld, visionary and leader of the event said, “We had some challenges this year but 44 teams out of 50 made it to the ice and we had a blast.”

The Pond Hockey Classic kicked off in 2018 with 20 teams and has grown each year. Tournament Commissioner Blumenfeld said, “The tournament is a celebratory event for the town of Grand Lake.  We love hockey!”
