Last weekend a team of volunteers and students from Middle Park High School came together to create regulation size corn hole tournament boards for the upcoming fundraiser organized by the Middle Park High School Booster Club.

Jack Kopp and Mr. Wheatley designed the specs and set up an assembly line to knock out the corn hole board project in a matter of hours. The teams made 13 sets (26 total) of boards to be decorated before the tournament on March 21st, starting at 2pm at the Inn at Silvercreek. The boards will be auctioned off at the end of the tournament as a fundraiser for each of the clubs and teams participating in the event.

The teams will decorate the plain wood or paint a base layer and go from there. Jared Peterson with Moore Brothers just off 10 mile drive in Granby was able to get Sherwin Williams to donate EACH team 3 quarts of paint!

The catering department will be doing the appetizers at the banquet. The Booster Club is hoping to have a bar cart there, but they still need sponsors to help pay for that and the facility. The team is also asking for “lane” sponsors. If a business or person sponsors a lane, $250, they will get a free team signed up. An Event sponsor is $100 with a free team sign up.
