Grand County’s only shoe store, Local Experience, has completed their relocation from Winter Park to the southwest corner of the Fraser Marketplace, adjacent to Safeway. The new spot allowed owners, Jeff and Lara, to build out the space to their specifications and expand their operation. Overlooking Cozens Ranch open space, the view might be the only distraction you’ll find while shopping.

Pearl Dragon Chinese Restaurant in Granby continues to make progress on the full remodel of their new building. The opening date has yet to be released, but we’re all anxiously awaiting the announcement. They’re probably going to need a little extra help when they reopen. Jackpot Resale Shop opened in the historic Morgan Mercantile Building in Tabernash on June 8th. Offering an eclectic selection of hand-picked clothing and boutique items, you should probably plan to stop by often to see what owner, Lacey, picks up next!

Local craft brewery, Fraser River Beer Company, held their Grand Opening June 22 and it doesn’t look like it has slowed down since!  Handcrafted beer and a food truck in a family and dog-friendly atmosphere makes this new venture a welcome addition to downtown Fraser.

After an extensive remodeling, Two Pines Supply opened in downtown Granby in May. Offering a comprehensive line of hiking, camping, climbing, biking and general outdoor equipment and owner Chris Olivier’s high level of expertise, the shop also rents, sells and repairs bikes, camping and hiking equipment. This is the go-to shop for outdoor sports in Granby.

Grand/Mad Adventures has opened a new store front in downtown Winter Park. The adventure company is offering side by side rentals and tours, rafting trips and snowmobiling in the winter. Brick and Mortar storefront for the outdoor and backcountry adventures they offer.
