NSCD Volunteer Opportunities
Summer is coming to an end… and school is just around the corner! Our Therapeutic Horseback Riding (THR) program is still going strong, and any junior volunteers (14 years+) still looking to fulfill their school-mandated community service hours are welcome to join us this week.

Our THR Center is located at Snow Mountain Ranch YMCA, about 15 minutes from Winter Park Resort. Adult volunteers are needed to walk alongside the horse, stabilizing and interacting with the participant as they receive instruction from our THR staff. Junior volunteers often assist with ranch chores, tacking horses, and leading the horses during lessons. No experience with horses is needed, though it is recommended for junior volunteers!

New NSCD volunteers can sign up to volunteer with the THR program online or through Facebook.. -> https://goo.gl/v7FYc9
