Valley Briefing Paving on HWY 40 Paving operations on U.S. Highway 40 are taking place over the next few weeks from Berthoud Pass to Craig. Crews will be doing maintenance work and paving from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night. During paving operations, delays should be expected as the pavement is compacted. According to CDOT spokesperson, “We have a short window before the weather makes paving prohibitive” Motorist should also be aware that there will be intermittent shoulder closures EB/WB on Berthoud Pass due to wall repair Monday through Friday 7AM to 7PM.
